Tamela is a trauma survivor healed by grace. Her book, A Rescued Life, is a “reluctant memoir” recounting her healing journey that began by telling the secret of childhood sexual abuse. By telling her story, Tamela hopes that other hurting women will find their voice to also tell their story and begin to heal. Tamela is the director of Hope of the Delta, a faith-based pro-life pregnancy center in southeast Arkansas. She is mom to three adult sons, and two beautiful daughters-in-law and Mimi to her sweet new grandbaby girl.
