Inspiring Stories: Shannon Calhoun with Andrea Lennon

In this episode, Andrea talks to friend Shannon Calhoun about her journey to faith, life as a mom and wife, and how the last few months have been especially crazy and challenging. However, you're reminded that with the right community, you'll always be encouraged and never left alone. 

Shannon is the wife of Andy, mom of Lexie and Joely, and Hunny to granddaughter Oakley. Shannon and her husband Andy live in Benton. Recognizing her heart for connecting women, Shannon volunteered in Women’s Ministry for a few years at The Church at Rock Creek and then joined the staff full time in 2013. Before joining Rock Creek, she was a multi-site manager for child care facilities in Central Arkansas and had worked in childcare for 18 years.  Shannon loves spending time with her family, slow mornings with coffee, reading, Christmas movies, and outdoors in the fall.  She also serves as a Network Leader for the Women’s Ministry Equipping Team of the ABSC.
